Instructions:
Click
on the 
to download each zip file
then select "Save it to disk.", then save to a
directory you can find later. (A good place to put them is the
"Sound Search Path" specified in your MS Chat or your
desktop. Then unzip the files to the directory listed in your
"Sound Search Path".
(To find your Sound search path, while in MS Chat press Control Q, then click the Settings tab to see what directory your computer uses. The default for MS Chat is the C:\Windows\Media. Your computer may differ though.)
1: All sounds use the Long File Names (LFN), do not use an unzip utility that does not support long file names, such as PKUNZIP. If you need an un-zip utility there are plenty out there. Check out WinZip today. DO NOT re-name the files or others will not be able to hear them, make a copy but leave the origional file in tact.
2: If you have download these previously you may want to redownload them again. The wave packs have been merged together, I fixed some typos, and there are even a few new ones that got mixed in. (plus if you had all the sounds you will find a huge reduction in size from 20MB to less then 5MB!!!) Remember do not rename wave files or others will not be able to hear them.
3: You can have multiple Sound Directories. In MS Chat Press Ctrl + Q, click the settings tab. At the bottom will be the "Sound Search Path" here is where you can list more then one directory. Just place a ; between the directories. Example: "C:\Windows\Media;C:\Sounds"
4: You must have Netshow installed to hear these sounds. After installing Netshow you must reboot your computer.
